Job description

The Call Center Scheduler is responsible for answering both inbound and outbound calls, serving patients by answering inquires, and asking questions and providing accurate information. ENTAA Care is a practice pod of Johns Hopkins Regional Physicians LLC. Location is Glen Burnie.
Shift: Monday-Friday, Day Shift, No Weekends
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a call center setting, preferably in health care.
  • Experience with computerized EMR (electronic medical records) systems highly desirable.
  • Experienced and comfortable with computer usage required.
  • Applicant must be highly motivated and have the ability to work independently in a fast-paced office with strong interpersonal skills and a friendly and empathic manner.

Essential Duties Include:
  • Book, coordinates and reschedules patient's appointments accurately and timely according to current protocol.
  • Emails front desk regarding add-ins for same day appointments.
  • Answers telephone according to current protocol; including questions regarding appointments such as testing, etc.
  • Complete assigned voicemails.
  • Directs and transfer calls to the appropriate staff member/department relaying all pertinent information.
  • Directs patient complaints and/or compliments to the appropriate department manager.
  • Obtains patient information accurately and timely; interviews caller, verifies information, etc.
  • Enters patient information per procedure.

Salary Range: Minimum 18.50/hour - Maximum 23.00/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
