This full-time position is uniquely set within an educational framework, allowing for remote flexibility while engaging with students, families, and staff. The work hours are primarily Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with the possibility of occasional evening or weekend support based on client needs. A degree of flexibility is crucial as you coordinate with families, participate in multidisciplinary meetings, and conduct client assessments.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of seniors’ psychosocial needs, taking into account emotional, cognitive, and social factors impacting their educational experiences.
• Collaborate closely with students and their families to develop tailored intervention plans that meet their specific academic and personal goals.
• Provide individual and family counseling services, focusing on helping clients navigate significant life transitions, including changes in health, education, and familial dynamics.
• Advocate for clients' rights to access educational resources, ensuring equitable support within the school setting.
• Engage with an interdisciplinary team of educators, healthcare professionals, and support staff to promote a holistic approach to student care.
• Conduct regular check-ins to monitor academic performance, emotional well-being, and any potential concerns affecting clients' engagement.
• Facilitate family meetings to resolve conflicts and enhance communication among stakeholders involved in the clients’ education and care.
• Educate clients and their families on community resources, local programs, and available support networks tailored to senior students.
• Maintain thorough documentation of assessments, intervention plans, and client interactions, adhering to ethical guidelines and standards.
• Stay current with best practices and legislative changes in social work, particularly those relevant to educational settings.

This role primarily focuses on senior students who require additional support in navigating both academic and personal challenges. • Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), ensuring compliance with state regulations.
