American Social Work Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your daily tasks will include:

• Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments to accurately evaluate clients' mental health status, identify strengths, and recognize available resources.
• Providing tailored individual, couples, family, and group therapy using evidence-based modalities.
• Utilizing various therapeutic approaches, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care to facilitate healing and personal development.
• Creating and implementing individualized treatment plans, ensuring clear goals, strategies, and measurable outcomes are laid out for each client.
• Collaborating with our multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to offer seamless and coordinated care.
• Responding to crisis situations through immediate intervention, conducting risk assessments, and developing safety plans when necessary.
• Maintaining detailed documentation of client interactions and treatment progress to adhere to ethical standards and organizational policies.

Your role will involve working with a culturally diverse clientele, providing services to individuals from various backgrounds, ages, and socio-economic statuses. You will play an integral role in supporting clients dealing with complex family dynamics, relationship challenges, and individual mental health issues. We require candidates to hold a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field along with a valid license as a Marriage and Family Therapist in Pennsylvania. A minimum of two years’ experience in clinical settings, providing direct therapy services, is essential for this role.

While the required experience is two years, we prefer candidates who have previously worked in a community health setting, especially in remote or virtual platforms. Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored for dealing with familial and relational dynamics is favorable.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, we offer a sign-on bonus as a warm welcome to new team members.
