Receptionist

Weekends (Fridays/Saturdays 4:30pm - 8:00pm)

Position Summary

Loudoun Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a professional, organized, and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team. This role performs receptionist and related administrative duties for the facility under the direction of the Business Office Manager. The Receptionist serves as the primary liaison to visitors, families, vendors, and other external constituents while supporting daily administrative operations.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality, and strong communication skills while contributing to a welcoming and efficient environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Greet/receive visitors and other guests and direct them accordingly.

  • Maintain up-to-date resident census lists (names and room numbers), emergency phone numbers, department extensions, and key personnel contacts.

  • Correspond incoming and outgoing mail for various departments as needed.

  • Perform all duties in an efficient, safe, and organized manner.

  • Remain flexible and adaptable to changing work schedules and departmental needs.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Previous receptionist or administrative experience preferred, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

  • Proficiency in basic office equipment (multi-line phone system, copier, fax, computer).

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred.
