The S&R Group is currently hiring a casual (days, evenings, weekends) Receptionist for one of their Long term Care located in Kitchener, Ontario. Applicants must also be available to cover for Call-in's, Christmas/New Years, Sick and Vacation coverage.

Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinate daily tasks in busy office environment
  • Prioritize appointments and proactively and positively resolve conflicts as they arise
  • Maintain office operations by ordering supplies, processing invoices
  • Responds to phone and email inquiries – providing general information and referring inquiries to the appropriate source.
  • Complete monthly accommodation billing including rate reductions
  • Oversee resident comfort trust accounts
  • Complete new resident admission contracts
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required
Qualifications
  • Post Secondary Education with a diploma in Office Administration
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
  • Familiarity/ability to understand the MOH LTC act, Rate Reduction/GIS/OAS
  • Experience in an Office and or a Long Term Care Home setting an asset-resident accounts, billings, month end reports would be an asset
  • Extensive computer literacy skills including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to maintain records, resident trust accounts, prepare admission agreements and complete billing
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage time-sensitive tasks
  • Pro-active approach and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work under pressure in busy, fast-paced environment
