Summary of Position

The Campus Production Lead is responsible for building, developing, and leading the production volunteer team at their campus, while also owning the technical execution of weekend gatherings and special events. This role sits at the intersection of people development and operational excellence - you will be as invested in your volunteers' growth as you are in the quality of the service. 


People & Leadership 

  • Actively recruit, assimilate, and train new production volunteers. 
  • Identify and invest in emerging leaders - your goal is to build leaders, not just operators. 
  • Create a team culture that is welcoming, encouraging, and Gospel-Centered. 
  • Provide consistent, constructive feedback that grows volunteer skills and confidence. 
  • Communicate clearly with Staff and volunteers. 
  • Lead Volunteers through A1S1 Sundays. 
  • Possess the ability to quickly troubleshoot and make live decisions.  

Weekend Service Execution 

  • Execute production at all weekend gatherings and assigned special events. 
  • Operate or oversee all technical elements: audio, video, lighting, and ProPresenter. 
  • Convert weekly playlists and program content to campus-specific settings in ProPresenter 
  • Program lighting for each new series at the campus level. 
  • Maintain gear in good working condition; communicate maintenance needs promptly. 

Systems & Communication 

  • Lead the Sunday morning production team meeting. 
  • Build and maintain volunteer schedules using Planning Center (or assigned scheduling tool). 
  • Operate within the production SOPs established by the Production Director. 
  • Evaluate services and communicate detailed feedback to Campus Pastor and Production Director. 
  • Attend required weekly staff and production meetings. 
  • Communicate proactively. 
  • Other job duties as needed and assigned. 

HOURS & EXPECTATIONS 

This is a part-time position. Core hours center on weekend gatherings, with additional time required for scheduling, volunteer development, and series/service preparation. 10 hours per week with an additional 2+ hours for new series setup.  

  • Sunday gatherings 
  • Weekly production meeting attendance 
  • Midweek time for scheduling, volunteer follow-up, and series prep (hours vary by season) 
  • Occasional special events, holiday services, and church-wide events as needed 
  • Attend required production and campus meetings 
  • Full working knowledge of ProPresenter 
  • Working Knowledge of MagicQ lighting system  
  • Strong file management and organizational skills 
  • Basic understanding of FOH console
