Job Title: Weekend Property Manager/Uhaul and call center specialist

Position Summary

The Call Center Operator is responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls to

drive unit rentals, support existing customers, and deliver an exceptional customer

experience. This role plays a critical part in converting leads into rentals, supporting

property operations, and maximizing occupancy and revenue across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Lead Conversion

Answer inbound calls from prospective customers and convert inquiries into

reservations and rentals

Follow up on web leads, missed calls, and abandoned reservations

Recommend unit sizes, pricing options, and promotions based on customer needs

Upsell tenant insurance, locks, and other retail products

Meet or exceed individual and team conversion goals

2. Customer Service

Assist customers with account questions, payments, and general inquiries

Support move-ins, move-outs, transfers, and account updates

Resolve customer concerns professionally and escalate when needed

Deliver a friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient customer experience

3. Reservation & Scheduling

Create and manage reservations in the property management system

Coordinate move-in logistics with on-site property teams

Ensure accurate customer information and documentation

4. Account Management & Collections Support

Take payments and process transactions securely

Make outbound calls on delinquent accounts (reminders, collections follow-up)

Explain policies, fees, and lien process clearly and professionally

5. Systems & Data Entry

Accurately enter and update customer data in PMS systems

Maintain detailed call notes and activity tracking

Use multiple systems simultaneously (phone, chat, PMS)

6. Performance & Compliance

Meet KPIs such as conversion rate, call quality, and response time

Follow scripts, call standards, and compliance guidelines

Adhere to company policies and data security standards
7. Manage the U-Haul rentals on Property
Help customers find and select the right rental for their needs
Help customers navigate their app

Move trucks and trailers around the property as needed

Qualifications

1–3+ years of call center, sales, or customer service experience

Strong phone presence and communication skills

Sales-oriented mindset with ability to close

Basic computer proficiency and ability to multitask across systems

High school diploma or equivalent
