Responsibilities:

1.Tennis Instruction:

  • Provide high-quality tennis instruction to individuals and groups of all ages and skill levels. 
  • Develop lesson plans, conduct clinics, and offer private lessons to enhance members’ tennis skills.

2. Program Development:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of tennis programs, including but not limited to junior programs, adult leagues, and social events. 
  • Collaborate with the Head Tennis Professional to create engaging and inclusive activities for members.

3. Court Maintenance:

  • Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of tennis courts. 
  • Report any equipment issues promptly and work with the facilities team to ensure optimal playing conditions.

4. Member Engagement:

  • Foster positive relationships with club members. 
  • Address member inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally. 
  • Organize and participate in social events to promote a sense of community among tennis enthusiasts.

5. Tournament Coordination: 

  • Coordinate and organize tennis tournaments and events. 
  • Ensure smooth execution, including scheduling, participant registration, and awards ceremonies.

6. Skill Assessment: 

  • Conduct player assessments to determine skill levels and tailor instruction accordingly. 
  • Provide feedback to players for continuous improvement.

7. Stay Informed: 

  • Stay abreast of current trends and developments in tennis coaching and instruction. 
  • Attend workshops, seminars, and training sessions to enhance personal and professional growth.


Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • USPTA or PTR certification preferred.
  • Previous experience as a tennis instructor or assistant tennis professional.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Knowledge of tennis equipment and court maintenance.
  • Passion for promoting tennis within the community.
