General Statement of Duties: Proctor Advanced Placement tests in various subjects. Proctor will monitor the test facility and test takers, and assist the AP Coordinator to ensure the integrity of the AP tests and administration. A proctor may be asked to supervise the testing room, read the exam administration script, help distribute or collect exam materials, accept responsibility for timing the exams, and ensure exam security.

Hours: 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (hours vary based on schedule) Exams are scheduled in 2 blocks per day, AM and PM. Proctors will only give one exam per day.

Length of Work Year: Dates of need are May 4 - 15 and May 18-22.

Reports to: AP Coordinator

Qualifications:

  • Ability to troubleshoot problems with tests and/or technology
  • Knowledge and understanding of standardized test administration protocols and practices
  • Ability to follow procedures with great attention to details
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate in a fair and equitable manner with test examinees

Minimum Experience and Training:

  • High School Diploma
  • Experience in test administration desired
  • Experience with technology helpful, but not required
  • Attend live proctor training on Monday, April 20 at 3:30 pm. $100 pay for attending training.

Rate: $ 110.00 per standard time exam, $160.00 per non-standard time exam
