We're currently seeking dedicated RN Supervisors for our skilled nursing Healthcare Center at Luther Acres (Lititz, PA) on a casual basis. We understand that flexibility is important, so we've designed a casual/PRN RN opportunity that offers two unique tiers with premium compensation, letting you choose what works best for your lifestyle. Details of the casual/PRN positions are listed below:

WHAT YOU DO:
As an RN Supervisor at the Luther Acres Healthcare Center, you're an integral part of providing compassionate care to the residents in our skilled nursing center and ensuring they are comfortable by monitoring their overall health and well-being. You'll do this in several ways, including:
  1. Supervise an assigned skilled nursing area. Designate tasks and provide instruction and direction in methods and techniques of nursing and resident care in accordance with established standards and procedures. Ensure that nursing care plans, charts, and treatment schedules are followed by nursing staff. Perform nursingduties following licensure scope of practice.
  2. Oversee and perform resident assessments and formulate a plan of care based on the MDS/QRassessments, diagnosis, and daily needs.
  3. Provide clinical expertise and oversight in the management of medical emergencies and interventions to treat and prevent further events. Manage resident emergency situations following established protocols, coordination/accessing appropriate healthcare team members and resources, and properly documenting events.
  4. Order and receive medications, treatment supplies, resident care supplies, and nursing station supplies for the assigned area.
  5. Responsible for the coordination of care with physicians, consultants, and other practitioners.

Our RNs and LPNs are assisted by Certified Nursing Assistants in providing care to our residents.

Luther Acres - located in the charming, historic town of Lititz - is a Continuing Care Retirement Community with a long history of providing excellent care and services. It is part of Luthercare, which is a not-for-profit, faith-based, and mission-driven organization. Luthercare provides a network of services through its full continuum of care with two communities in Lancaster County. With nearly 600 residents, Luther Acres offers independent living cottages and apartments, personal care apartments, and skilled nursing Healthcare Center.
Qualifications/Requirements:
  1. Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania
  2. Current cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certificate
