Pool Monitor

Looking for a rewarding role in a vibrant, resort-style community? Magma Ranch II is seeking an energetic Pool Monitor to help create a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for residents and guests. Our premier community features a sparkling pool, fitness center, basketball courts, splash pad, parks, dog park, and more! In this role, you'll be responsible for monitoring pool safety, maintaining the cleanliness of the pool area, and providing exceptional customer service. If you enjoy working outdoors, engaging with people, and making a positive impact every day, we'd love to have you on our team!

Position Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome residents and their guests to the pool area.
  • Controlling access to the entrance points and recording pool usage.
  • Enforcement of pool rules and regulations; this includes ensuring that all residents, staff, guests and other individuals on premises are following the pool rules and regulations.
  • Watching swimmers and guests at the pool ensuring safety at all times.
  • Ensuring the pool is prepared for residents and their guests.
  • Maintain the cleanliness surrounding the pool area (arranging furniture, washing off the deck, etc.).
  • Report any injuries that may occur while following the proper procedures.
  • Ensuring the pool area is prepared at night for use the following morning and closing the pool facility.
  • Work cooperatively to ensure a positive experience for all residents, guests and staff members.
  • Perform other related duties as directed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to function efficiently in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
  • Ability to interact, answer questions, resolve concerns, deal with conflict in person and work positively and effectively with homeowners and staff at all levels.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  • Weekend hours, to include holidays as necessary.
  • Must be able to speak English in a clear and understandable voice to interact with all types of individuals, be mentally alert, detail oriented, and have sound reasoning skills.
  • Position involves sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, pushing, shoving, lifting, carrying and moving objects that can weigh up to 45 lbs.
  • Must be able to work effectively and cheerfully in an environment, which may be stressful due to adversarial situations resulting in proper performance of duties.
