Job description

Fortress Nutrition is growing-and we're looking for driven, reliable individuals to join our high-speed Beverage Canning team. If you thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and want a schedule that gives you more balance without sacrificing your paycheck, this is the perfect opportunity.
This role is ideal for someone who is looking for a second job to earn more income, shows up consistently, and wants to be part of a team that produces high-quality products at scale.
Why This Role Stands Out

  • Work 3 days and get paid for 40 hours!
  • Enjoy a consistent 3-day work week while earning a full-time paycheck-giving you more time off without giving up income.

Schedule: Weekend Shift

  • Friday - Sunday: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
  • 3-day work week (36 hours worked, paid for 40 hours!)
  • Training will need to occur during the week, but there is flexibility for you to determine what training hours work best for your schedule

What You'll Do

  • Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain high-speed canning line equipment (filler, seamer, packaging, shrink wrapper)
  • Monitor production to ensure efficiency, quality, and minimal downtime
  • Act with urgency to quickly address line or equipment faults
  • Identify and escalate mechanical issues to Maintenance when needed
  • Follow all safety standards, GMPs, and sanitation practices
  • Support team operations through overtime as needed
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of machine operating and troubleshooting experience
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Reliability, accountability, and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work additional hours if needed based on business demands
Must operate with a high sense of urgency at all times. This role requires constant monitoring of equipment and immediate response to machine faults or slowdowns. Failure to act quickly can stop the entire canning line. Individuals who are not attentive, proactive, and fast-moving in addressing issues will not be successful in this role.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in food, beverage, bottling, canning, or other regulated environments
  • Knowledge of GMPs, food safety, and quality standards
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 12 hours per shift)
  • Frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50lbs
  • Bending, kneeling, climbing, and operating machinery
  • Use of hands for handling tools, equipment, and controls
Pay & Benefits
  • Starting Pay: $20.00-$22.00+ per hour, with higher starting rates offered based on experience and qualifications
  • Weekend Shift Premium +$1.00
  • Paid for 40 hours per week, while working only 36 hours
Benefits Include:
  • PTO Package with Carryover Option
  • Paid Holidays
  • Medical, Dental & Vision (Affordable Family Coverage)
  • HSA with Company Contributions
  • Company-paid Life, AD&D, Short- & Long-Term Disability
  • 401(k) with strong company match
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Referral Bonuses
  • And more
