Roto Flex Rewinder Operator (1st Shift)

Location: Mount Pleasant, WI
Pay: $19/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Type: Temp-to-Hire

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Roto Flex Rewinder Operator to join our team on 1st shift. This role is responsible for operating rewinding equipment to inspect, slit, and rewind printed materials according to customer specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate Roto Flex rewinder machines to rewind printed rolls accurately
  • Inspect labels/printed materials for defects (color, alignment, print quality, etc.)
  • Set up machine parameters (tension, speed, slitting, etc.) based on job requirements
  • Remove defective materials and ensure high-quality output
  • Read and follow job tickets and production instructions
  • Perform basic machine maintenance and cleaning
  • Maintain a safe and organized work area
  • Meet production and efficiency targets

Qualifications

  • Previous experience with Roto Flex or similar rewinding/slitting equipment preferred
  • Experience in printing, packaging, or label production is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
  • Ability to read job orders and follow instructions
  • Basic mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
