Summary:
We are currently seeking a Utility Operator for our Cudahy, WI plant. The Utility Operator - Steel Stores is responsible for the cutting of warehoused material to size, including shop orders in our Steel Stores department, according to specifications. The use of all equipment, tools and devices to handle the material in the described process. Top include unloading of transport trucks, loading of saws, cutting of billets on all saws, and machining of mults.
Essential Functions:
  1. Any new employees entering the Department may be required to take and pass the aptitude test (i.e. Accuplacer)
  2. Utility Operator's must be able to perform all functions in the Department as assigned.
  3. Running production carbide saws
  4. Running production on Hem saws and future associated machining equipment if applicable
  5. Running production on Amada saws/Mazak machining cell
  6. Performing all material handling, truck unloading, paperwork, short-end activities
  7. Running any new equipment
