Machine Operator

Shifts Available:
Weekend Shift: F, Sa, Su 6:00am-6:00pm

Weekend shift provides a $2.00 shift differential for hours worked in addition to the base pay.

In addition to serving the Mass Transit Industry, AROW Global has started to develop windows for operator cab enclosures and service vehicles. We cater to original equipment manufacturers who are looking for strategic supply chain partners in North America. With our breadth of manufacturing capabilities, a large pool of engineering resources and facilities in both Canada and the United States, we are well-positioned to add value as a first-tier supplier in all stages of the product life cycle, from new product development to high volume production manufacturing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing equipment including according to production requirements.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Make adjustments to machine settings as necessary to maintain proper dimensions and tolerances
  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specifications

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a production or fabrication environment is preferred
  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills as well as the ability to read blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
  • Ability to assemble and fabricate components
  • Understanding of tooling and tooling requirements for different machining operations
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control
  • Reliability and proven attendance at past jobs
