Surfsand Resort is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to help lead our team and support the day-to-day operations of our award-winning oceanfront resort. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, enjoys developing teams, and is committed to delivering exceptional guest service.

What You'll Do- Provide daily operational leadership across resort departments.
- Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) when the General Manager is off-site, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
- Support department leaders in delivering exceptional guest and team member experiences.
- Coach, mentor, and assist with training to ensure service excellence and operational consistency.
- Resolve guest concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and brand expectations.
- Assist with operational planning, staffing, and process improvements.
- Support the Accounting Department with financial and administrative responsibilities, including:
- Accounts payable
- Invoice coding
- Bank deposits and banking duties
- Payroll processing and related tasks
- Other accounting and administrative functions as assigned
- Minimum of 5 years of hotel management or supervisory experience required.
- Experience with a branded hotel is strongly preferred.
- Training and experience in:
- Hotel front desk operations
- Cash handling procedures
- Hotel accounting and administrative processes
- Or an equivalent combination of education and hospitality experience.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Comfortable making decisions independently and managing multiple priorities.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and hotel property management systems.
- High attention to detail with excellent problem-solving abilities.
