Locums Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician in Visalia, California - Weekend Call Only, Travel Included

Designed to fit alongside a weekday practice, this cardiothoracic surgery assignment focuses on weekend call coverage with access to a mature CABG program and advanced cardiovascular procedures.


Practice & Cases:


  • Inpatient adult cardiothoracic surgery coverage
  • CABG program with dedicated cardiovascular surgical services
  • TEE and cardiothoracic surgical care
  • Opportunities involving minimally invasive, TAVR, off-pump, and thoracic aortic procedures

Schedule:


  • Weekend-only coverage
  • Friday morning through Monday morning call blocks
  • 3-4 weekends per month available
  • 24/7 call coverage during assigned weekends

Requirements:


  • Must be an MD or DO
  • Active California medical license required
  • Board Certified in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery with CAQ
  • ACLS and DEA required

Logistics:
