Job description

Find your calling at Mercy! The RN Home Health Hospice Lead is responsible for assisting in planning, coordinating, and implementation of the Home Health/Hospice operations as designated. Serves as a clinical resource for caregivers within the departments. Assumes delegated duties by the respective department leader. Serves as a resource for the departmental leaders with oversight and development of departmental policy, compliance and key financial indicators. Position Details:

Schedule: Full-time - Friday 0900-2130, Sat/Sun 0800-2030

Education: Successfully completed an accredited school of nursing.

Licensure: Current RN license in the applicable state of practice required. Must be a licensed driver.

Preferred Licensure: Prefer bachelor’s in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years Home Health/Hospice experience preferred.

Preferred Experience: Supervisory experience preferred.

Certifications: Possess and maintains current CPR certification.

Other: Has excellent observation, good nursing assessment and communication skills. Has ability to provide good written documentation in a timely manner. Possesses good time management and problem-solving skills. Is self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision. Is flexible and cooperative in fulfilling role obligation and has the ability to work within an interdisciplinary team.
