Medical Receptionist
Location: Knoxville, TN
Pay: $17
Schedule: M-F, 8am-5pm, Rotate 1 to 2 times a week coming in at 7am
Position Overview
M Force Partners is seeking a professional and customer-focused Medical Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for visitors, customers, and internal staff. This Medical Receptionist role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while supporting daily front office operations, cash handling, scheduling, and administrative functions.
The ideal Medical Receptionist is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This individual will ensure every customer interaction is handled professionally while maintaining accurate records and supporting efficient office operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and customers in a professional, friendly, and welcoming manner
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls, emails, and customer inquiries
- Process cash payments, issue receipts, and reconcile cash drawers accurately
- Maintain front desk records, logs, and customer documentation
- Coordinate visitor check-in and check-out procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area
- Assist with filing, scanning, photocopying, mail distribution, and other administrative tasks
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars as needed
- Respond to customer questions and escalate concerns when appropriate
- Support daily office operations while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a front desk, receptionist, customer service, or administrative support role
- Experience handling cash transactions and balancing cash drawers
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, and standard office equipment
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable attendance and professional demeanor
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a healthcare, hospitality, corporate office, or professional services environment
- Experience with visitor management or appointment scheduling software
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping or accounting procedures
- Experience resolving customer concerns in a professional manner
- Additional training in customer service, office administration, or a related field
