As a Grounds Keeper, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the beauty, safety, and overall appearance of our marina. This position is essential to ensure our docks, walkways, and shoreline areas are clean, well-kept, and ready to be enjoyed by guests and boaters alike. Fourwinds Lakeside Inn & Marina (est. 1976) is a premier waterfront destination located on Lake Monroe in Bloomington, IN. Renowned for its lakeside lodging, full-service marina, and relaxed dining and entertainment, Fourwinds offers guests a complete lakefront experience. With its scenic views and welcoming atmosphere, Fourwinds remains a cornerstone of the Lake Monroe lifestyle for both visitors and the local lake community.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain cleanliness of docks and walkways through regular sweeping and detailing
  • Service pet waste stations by emptying and restocking receptacles as needed
  • Complete shoreline clean-up by removing debris, litter, and other hazards
  • Support the overall upkeep and appearance of marina common areas
  • Provide courteous and professional interactions with guests when encountered in public areas. 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must pass background check.
  • Ability to work a weekday schedule, including some weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Must be able to swim
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
  • Working outdoors in all weather conditions. Aspects of position will require working in extreme temperatures and varying weather elements.
