Manager on Duty- Full Time, Year-Round


The Manager on Duty is responsible for ensuring all aspects of the hotel are running to optimal performance by communicating with appropriate departments and members of upper management as needed. We are looking for a positive, organized, driven, and customer service-oriented individual to join our team!


Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Assist the Front Office Manager in overseeing all front office operations.
  • Complete all daily front desk tasks as assigned by Front Office Manager
  • Provide and ensure high-quality guest relations. Receive and resolve guest complaints in a manner consistent with company policy
  • Communicate relevant information to the next Manager On Duty
  • Monitor and track room moves when needed
  • Ensure compliance with all company policy and procedures
  • Adhere and enforce all safety procedures and inform upper management of any unsafe conditions
  • Attend meetings and training as required
  • Monitor balance discrepancies on guest rooms to ensure credit is available to cover all charges
  • Monitor occupancy of all guest rooms to ensure accurate room postings
  • Assist the Front Office Manager with the training of new associates
  • Communicate with the Front Office Manager and Assistant General Manager any issues that may require their attention
  • Coordinate shuttle schedule with Bell staffPromote and support brand initiatives and standards
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Programs
  • Must be very organized and detail-oriented
  • Must have a high level of communication skills
  • Must be able to stand for 8 hours
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, and weekends
  • Management experience is preferred, but not required.
