Job description

  • Control and direct the food preparation process and any other relative activities
  • Ensure all food dishes/Catering adhere to company standards and expectations
  • Oversee purchasing for all Food Menu items
  • Close the kitchen correctly and follow the closing checklist for kitchen stations
  • Ensure all storage areas are tidy and all products are stored appropriately
  • Price menu items in collaboration with the Restaurant Manager
  • Assists the General Manager with the recruiting and hiring of Kitchen Crew and Utility Staff.
  • Plan orders of equipment or ingredients according to identified shortages
  • Be fully in charge of hiring, managing, and training kitchen staff
  • Oversee the work of subordinates
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between teammates
  • Other duties may be assigned by the department head
