Allied Risk Management is currently seeking applications for security personnel to be assigned to a distinguished hotel situated on the west side of Manhattan. We have full-time, part-time, and P/U positions available, and preference will be given to candidates with open availability.

All applicants will be required to attend an on line interview, resumes and references are required.

REQUIRED:

  • NYS Security Guard License
  • Hotel Experience a MUST
  • Valid Drivers License or ID Card
  • Black Suit White Shirt Black Tie
  • CPR/AED Certification

The duties and expectations for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Warmly greeting hotel guests (requiring a personable, articulate, and well-groomed appearance);
  • Maintaining a visible presence in the lobby when assigned;
  • demonstrating strong communication skills, with bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish being a plus;
  • Diligently monitoring and authorizing the entrance and departure of guests, employees, and visitors;
  • Preparing comprehensive reports detailing daily activities and any irregularities, such as property damage, theft, the presence of unauthorized individuals, or unusual incidents;
  • Promptly contacting the police or fire department in emergency situations, including fire or the presence of unauthorized persons;
  • Actively deterring and preventing theft;
  • Ensuring the security of designated areas;
  • Responding effectively to alarms;
  • Possessing a working cell phone with the capability to download applications necessary for our time and attendance platform;
  • Consistently maintaining a professional demeanor.
