Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Farm Hand with experience working with cattle and performing landscaping/grounds maintenance. This role involves daily livestock care, general farm upkeep, and landscaping duties such as mowing, planting, and property maintenance. The ideal candidate is comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and has experience with both animals and land care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Feed, water, and monitor cattle daily
  • Assist with moving, sorting, and handling livestock safely
  • Identify signs of illness or injury and report concerns
  • Clean and maintain barns, pens, and equipment
  • Assist with loading/unloading livestock when needed
  • Perform landscaping and grounds maintenance: mowing, trimming, planting, and general yard work
  • Maintain farm equipment and tools used for landscaping and livestock
  • Assist with fencing, minor repairs, and other general farm work

Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with cattle is required
  • Experience with landscaping or grounds maintenance preferred
  • Basic knowledge of livestock health and behavior
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor
  • Comfortable working in varying weather conditions
