Job description

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Farm Hand to join our farm. We are a top breeder of German Shorthaired Pointers, so someone comfortable with Dogs and Horses is ideal.

In this role, you will help with daily activities, including animal care (Horses and Dogs), site maintenance, gardening and general farm duties As the Farm Hand, you can follow directions and will take the initiative to get the job done in a timely manner.

Farm Hand Duties and Responsibilities

  • Tend to animals - Horses & German Shorthaired Pointers
    • Exercising the horses involves riding so must be fit.
  • Clean and maintain Dog Kennels and Barn
  • Monitor and care for livestock
  • Feed animals and provide water
  • Perform general labor duties as needed

Farm Hand Requirements and Qualifications

  • Must be fit with good stamina to work around the kennel and farm
  • Previous experience working on a farm
  • Able to work in all weather conditions
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
