As a Farm Hand, you will play an important role in the day-to-day operation of our farm by assisting with horse care, barn maintenance, and general property upkeep. Essential Responsibilities

  • Feed and water horses according to established schedules.
  • Clean and maintain horse stalls to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Groom horses and assist with their daily care.
  • Turn horses out to pasture and assist with bringing them back into the barn as needed.
  • Perform routine barn cleaning and general property maintenance.
  • Assist with minor fence board repairs and basic farm maintenance tasks.
  • Complete general farm chores as assigned to support daily operations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding farm needs or maintenance concerns.


Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Reliable transportation is required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions, including the Florida heat.
  • Dependable, organized, and able to work independently.
  • Compassionate and comfortable working around horses and other farm animals.
