As a Farm Hand, you will play an important role in the day-to-day operation of our farm by assisting with horse care, barn maintenance, and general property upkeep. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, values teamwork, and takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized environment.

Essential Responsibilities
- Feed and water horses according to established schedules.
- Clean and maintain horse stalls to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
- Groom horses and assist with their daily care.
- Turn horses out to pasture and assist with bringing them back into the barn as needed.
- Perform routine barn cleaning and general property maintenance.
- Assist with minor fence board repairs and basic farm maintenance tasks.
- Complete general farm chores as assigned to support daily operations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding farm needs or maintenance concerns.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Reliable transportation is required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions, including the Florida heat.
- Dependable, organized, and able to work independently.
- Compassionate and comfortable working around horses and other farm animals.
- Previous horse or farm experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
- Professional references may be requested.
Employment Requirements
- Successful completion of background checks and drug screening.
- Ability to remain alert and awake throughout all scheduled working hours.
- Maintain reliable telephone access for scheduling and emergency communication.
