Job Description:
The Farm Technician 1 is responsible for carrying out the day-to-day assignments and tasks of the cannabis production cycle within the cultivation facility.
Duties of this job include, but are not limited to:
  • Plant production (i.e.; watering, moving, pruning, harvesting, cleaning)
  • Plant Processing (i.e.; shucking, hanging, deleafing, trimming, sorting, packaging)
  • Able to perform plant production and processing for majority of your scheduled shift
  • Perform repetitive dexterous hand movements with cultivation and flower trimming tools;
  • Perform tasks in all types of environments within Copperstate Farms facility, such as the air-conditioned rooms within the facility, as well as the greenhouse in 100 degrees with high humidity.
  • Able to work with and around marijuana plants and all of their biproducts.
  • Basic facility maintenance work (i.e.; sweeping, shoveling, raking, basic repairs, power washing, cleaning, dripper removal, dripper replacement)
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Sit or stand for long periods of time
  • Ensure Standard Operating Procedures are followed.
  • Assure daily compliance with Company policies including but not limited to state/local regulation compliance, security protocols, access protocols, dress code, and work schedules
  • Work well and effectively with fellow co-workers in a productive way that is conducive to a professional work environment.
  • Other duties as assigned
