Job Duties
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Athletics Operations/Facilities Student Assistant is a member of the ISU Athletics staff hired on a per-semester basis depending on performance. The candidate will report to the Assistant AD for Facilities/Operations and will work in close cooperation with the Athletics Facilities/Operations Coordinator and other department staff to plan and implement sporting events, facility setup, as well as in at the outdoor facilities with field upkeep. The responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Preparation of athletic facilities for events; operation of scoreboard and music as needed; liaison to visiting teams and officials; serve on the ball crew (soccer, volleyball); occasional office work such as data entry, faxing, copying, deliveries, etc; mowing baseball, softball, and track fields; and other duties as assigned.
