Registered Nurse โ€“ Adult/Geriatric Critical Care

Schedule: Weekends: Every other weekend (approx. 6 weekends per 13-week contract)

Assignment Details: Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:

  • License: GA or Compact RN license required at time of submission
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year RN experience; first-time travelers accepted
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required
  • EMR: Epic experience required
  • Skills: Ventilator/BiPAP management, central line care, dysrhythmia interpretation

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care to adult and geriatric patients, primarily in the ICU setting.
  • Monitor and manage ventilator settings and patient responses.
  • Administer medications and IV therapies, including blood products.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Perform assessments, document patient progress, and communicate changes to the care team.
  • Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and safety guidelines.
