Beloit Health System is looking to add a Weekend CT Technologist to our Team!
  • Sign-On Bonus: Yes
  • Shift: 3rd
  • Schedule: 7p - 7a
  • Hours per week: 24
  • Benefits Status: Eligible
  • Department: CT

In this position the Weekend CT Technologist will provide patient services using imaging modalities as prescribed by a physician, performs radiologic and other related imaging procedures, producing images for interpretation by a physician, and apply principles of radiation protection. The CT Technologist will evaluate radiographs for technical quality, and exercise professional judgement in the performance of procedures.
  • Works only weekends and participates in a holiday rotation
  • Performs diagnostic radiographic services
  • Operates imaging equipment and other equipment/devices as appropriate
  • Applies principles of radiation protection to minimize exposure to the patient, self, and others
  • Evaluates radiography for technical quality and patient identification.
  • Assumes responsibility for provision of physical and psychological needs patients during procedures
  • Administers or assists with administration of contrast media, as required.
  • Assists physician with fluoroscopic and specialized interventional radiography procedures
  • Ensures proper documentation
  • Performs quality control checks as required.
  • Maintains accurate patient records and files with confidentiality, performing all PACs functions
  • Assumes responsibility for portions of department QA/QI program
  • Supervises, assists, instructs, and communicates effectively with radiology students
  • Reporting Relationship: Director and Clinical Manager of Radiology Services

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Graduate of accredited Radiography school
  • Current WI Radiographer license and ARRT Certification
  • CT Certification preferred upon hire (required within one year of training completion)
  • At least one year of CT experience preferred
  • CPR certification within 90 days
  • Keeps personal and medical information about patients confidential
