Job description

Digital Banking Subject Matter Expert

Acts as a subject matter expert for all Digital Banking products, services, systems and enrollment. Processes Digital Banking daily work including setup, maintenance, end of day and settlement for online banking and treasury management.

Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Provides support for digital banking, including product fulfillment and daily production work.

Acts as a technical support resource and Subject Matter Expert for digital banking products, services and systems.

Acts as a liaison with digital banking and Treasury Management product vendors to facilitate implementation and periodic maintenance of products.

Provides support for commercial account billing and account analysis.

Post and review daily transactions from various sources and prepares daily ACH settlement for management approval.

Assist with processing work related to Treasury Management services (Wires, RDC, ACH, Positive Pay, etc.)

Monitors transaction activity and system alerts to identify and mitigate fraud.

Prepares and maintains various reports for tracking, compliance and management review.

Investigates, resolves and reports Regulation E (ACH) claims in accordance with bank procedures and regulatory requirements.

Reviews and processes digital banking enrollment and maintenance requests, and related services.

Answers questions from internal and external customers in a timely, effective and courteous manner.

Provide support and process requests received through the digital banking account-opening channel.

Works closely with branches and other departments to identify and resolve operational/reporting questions.

Utilizes and periodically reviews departmental procedures to ensure compliance with bank expectations, product enhancements and regulatory requirements.

Assist in implementing new products/services/systems, helps to ensure processes and procedures adhere to compliance laws and regulations, and participate in system releases/enhancements.

Archive daily work into the shared drive and Bank's document repository system.

Responsible for complying with department procedures as documented within the BSA Compliance Program Operating Manual.

Remains current on relevant compliance laws, regulatory requirements and changes Digital Banking products and services.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Skills/Abilities

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Working knowledge of the Bank's products and services, account set-up standards and documentation requirements.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products, standard office equipment and JHA core system.
  • Ability to multitask with good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good analytical and strong data entry skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Education and Experience

  • Requires minimum of two (2) years banking industry or other relevant experience, sales and service or previous Treasury Management Services and Digital Banking experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in Automated Clearing House (ACH) and Regulation E dispute processing preferred.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Office environment with job duties conducted via telephone, face to face meetings, and on the computer.

Physical Demands

This position requires manual dexterity, the ability to lift files and opening cabinets. This position requires bending, stooping or standing as necessary.

Travel

Travel may be required for this position.

This position is classified as full-time and the benefits package includes health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance.
