Job description

A private family in Miami is seeking an experienced and professional Weekend Infant Nanny to provide long-term weekend coverage for their 6-month-old daughter. The nanny will be part of a team environment, working alongside a full-time weekday nanny Monday through Friday. The weekend nanny will relieve the weekday nanny at the start of the weekend schedule.
The ideal candidate has strong infant and early childhood experience, is organized and professional, and is comfortable working collaboratively with a weekday nanny and overnight nanny to ensure smooth continuity of care.
This role includes active daytime childcare responsibilities along with light overnight care. Overnight care is expected to be lighter in nature as the child begins sleeping for longer stretches overnight.
Responsibilities
  • Provide attentive care for one infant child throughout the weekend
  • Support feeding schedules, naps, developmental activities, and routines
  • Assist with bedtime routines and light overnight care as needed
  • Maintain nursery organization, bottle preparation, and child-related laundry
  • Occasionally accompany family on trips and assist during travel
  • Communicate effectively with weekday during shift transitions
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for the child
  • Provide professional, discreet, and proactive support within a private household environment

Requirements
  • Extensive infant and early childhood experience
  • Previous experience working in private homes or UHNW households preferred
  • Early childhood education preferred; college degree, early childhood training, or related coursework strongly preferred
  • Fluent in a second language preferred, particularly German or Spanish
  • Professional nanny presentation and strong communication skills
  • Team-oriented and able to work collaboratively with household staff
  • Professional, discreet demeanor with strong understanding of privacy and confidentiality within private households
  • Flexible for international travel and schedule adjustments when needed
  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred
