Job description

Applicants must have 3 years of professional childcare experience, must be able to pass a background check, and must have reliable transportation to be considered.

Families are looking for dependable, attentive nannies to provide daily, hands-on care for their children during scheduled hours. Nannies are expected to meet each child’s needs during their shifts, follow family routines, and engage in age-appropriate, developmentally supportive activities in a safe and nurturing environment.


Schedule: Varies based on position and your availability


Current Open Positions:

  • 3-month-old infant – Thursday & Friday, 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM – Winter Springs area – $19+ per hour
  • 4-year-old & 11-year-old – Tuesday plus any 2 additional days, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM – UCF area – Summer position – $18+ per hour


Compensation: $18–$20 per hour (based on position and experience)


The successful applicant will be responsible for the safety of the children, engaging in developmentally appropriate activities, and keeping families updated throughout the day, as well as alerting them immediately if any issues arise. With Twinkle Toes, you will have the flexibility of picking up extra shifts and working a flexible schedule if you wish to work more hours.

Compensation:

$18 - $22 hourly


Responsibilities:
  • Provide reliable, attentive care tailored to each child’s needs and routine
  • Support age-appropriate play, learning, and daily structure
  • Foster a safe, nurturing, and positive environment
  • Assist with basic daily tasks related to the child(ren), such as meals, bottles, and rest time
  • Help maintain organization in shared and play spaces throughout the day
  • Complete light child-related tasks during downtime (e.g., tidying, dishes, laundry)
  • Maintain clear, respectful communication with families
  • Follow household guidelines and uphold strong hygiene practices

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience
  • Caring for 1 or more children at a time
  • High school degree
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for transportation to and from work
  • Previous infant care experience required (if applying for infant role)
  • Reliability is essential
  • Strong communication skills and attentiveness
  • CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
  • Clean background check and professional childcare references (no family or friend references)
  • Ability to safely lift and carry an infant and get on the floor to play
  • Non-Smoker
