Job description

OVERVIEW:

The Receptionist will greet, assist, and provide direction and information to patients, visitors, and other guests at the facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

ยท Greets patients, visitors, and guests; determines the purpose of each personโ€™s visit and directs or escorts them to the appropriate location

ยท Answers, screens, and directs phone calls; takes messages and schedules appointments if needed

ยท Receives mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and delivers or distributes items.

ยท Performs administrative and clerical support tasks

ยท Performs basic filing and recordkeeping

ยท Report any complaints to immediate supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

ยท High School Diploma or GED.

ยท Excellent verbal communication skills

ยท Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

ยท Basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures and systems

ยท Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

ยท This position has no supervisory responsibilities

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
