The provision of excellent group insurance Access to a retirement savings plan (RRSP) Free meals A flexible schedule to allow for a work-life balance What you will do: Plan and establish in the short and medium term the objectives, activities and development projects of the residence as well as the human, financial and technical resource needs in order to ensure the achievement of the objectives set in accordance with the business plan. Achieving the residence's objectives through sustained teamwork by conveying the organization's values and ensuring collaborative management through regular meetings with its managers. Supervise the accounting activities of the residence (reports, invoicing, collections, etc.) Ensure at the general administration level of the residence that an efficient service is offered to residents, and ensure that problems are resolved in accordance with the policies and procedures in force. In collaboration with the leasing consultant, ensure proactive management of the marketing of services offered, whether through targeted advertising or community involvement, to achieve high visibility and maximize occupancy rates. Furthermore, monitor the competition to adjust service offerings accordingly. To mobilize and manage the team, oversee task allocation, and periodically evaluate their performance. To advise managers on supervising their staff. Keeping up-to-date with knowledge regarding developments in the field of retirement residences and the laws governing this sector of activity. Determine the training or development needs of the staff in their department in order to enable them to acquire or update the knowledge necessary to perform their tasks or to meet new needs. What you will need: Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent experience Several years of experience in a management position or a service company Demonstrating Chartwell's RESPECT values Leadership Being results-oriented Supervisory capacity Strong listening and communication skills Customer service orientation High availability and flexibility regarding working hours (weekends according to the rotation established with the existing management team) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and computer tools
