Key Responsibilities

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Horizon Care, you will work with a diverse client base, ranging from individuals facing anxiety and depression to families dealing with complex relational dynamics. Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey.
  • A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting, with a demonstrated ability to provide high-quality therapeutic services.
  • In-depth knowledge of legal and ethical standards related to mental health practice.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to engage and build rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
  • Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) software and related technologies for effective patient management and documentation.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use treatment is highly desirable.
  • Experience working effectively in a team-oriented environment, demonstrating collaborative skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000, with additional performance-based bonuses.
