The Digital Marketing Specialist reports to the Senior Manager, Digital Strategy & Marketing Technology and is responsible for executing the firm’s digital marketing strategy across website, email marketing, social media, paid media, and thought leadership distribution channels. This role collaborates closely with business development, communications, marketing operations, and practice groups to deploy integrated marketing campaigns, maintain digital platforms, and support content promotion efforts that enhance the firm’s visibility and client engagement. The Specialist also supports performance measurement and reporting by developing dashboards, monitoring key metrics, and providing insights that help optimize digital marketing effectiveness.

Duties and Responsibilities

Digital Content Distribution

  • Assist in execution of digital content distribution initiatives across website, email, organic social media, paid media, and third-party publishing platforms in alignment with established digital marketing strategies
  • Collaborate with business development, communications, marketing operations, and practice groups to execute integrated digital marketing campaigns that support firm visibility, lawyer profile-raising, client engagement, and business development objectives
  • Coordinate campaign timelines, assets, approvals, and deployment schedules to ensure timely execution
  • Organize the firm’s organic social content calendar in Sprout Social as directed, drafting posts and routing for approval across the appropriate timelines.
  • Build, test, and deploy email marketing campaigns, ensuring accuracy across content, links, audience segmentation, and tracking parameters
  • Maintain email templates, monitor performance against established KPIs, and support ongoing optimization efforts through A/B testing and performance analysis
  • Build, launch, and monitor paid media campaigns across approved digital advertising channels, ensuring accuracy in audience targeting, campaign setup, tracking parameters, budgets, and creative assets

  • Work with vendors to ensure thought leadership content and firm events are syndicated across their platforms
  • Leverage AI-enabled tools and automation platforms, as directed, to support campaign execution, reporting, and operational efficiency.

Website

  • Manage website content via RubyLaw CMS, creating new web pages and editing existing pages as requested
  • Assist with implementation of website SEO best practices, including metadata updates, content tagging, and page optimization
  • Support website content audits and quality assurance reviews to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to firm standards
  • Coordinate website updates with external vendors and internal stakeholders as needed

Digital Engagement Reporting

  • Prepare recurring digital marketing reports summarizing overall website, organic social media, paid media, and email marketing KPI performance
  • Develop and maintain dashboards that provide stakeholders with visibility into campaign performance and audience engagement
  • Monitor website performance and report on traffic, campaign attribution, and SEO/GEO performance

Position Details

This is a full-time, benefits eligible, exempt level position. Final rate of pay will be commensurate with the incumbent’s experience, with a targeted hiring range of $90,000-$135,000 (the upper range reserved for highly qualified applicants). This position is currently available in our DC and NY office locations only.
