Position Summary

BWF Zuri is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Content Specialist to support the planning, creation, and distribution of marketing content across digital, social, email, events, and thought leadership channels. This role is ideal for a strong communicator who enjoys collaborating with subject matter experts, and ensuring content is delivered on time and aligned with BWF Zuri's brand.Β 

The Content Specialist will work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager and Event Specialist to help bring BWF Zuri's expertise to life by coordinating marketing campaigns, managing content calendars, supporting events and webinars, and assisting with content creation that engages nonprofit and higher education leaders.
Key Responsibilities
Content Planning & Coordination
  • Maintain the editorial and content calendar across multiple core capabilities.
  • Coordinate the production of blogs, articles, case studies, webinars, white papers, videos, and other marketing assets.
  • Collaborate with consultants and subject matter experts to gather content and meet project deadlines.
Content Development
  • Draft and edit marketing copy for:
    • Blogs
    • Client spotlights and case studies
    • Email campaigns
    • Social media
    • Website updates
    • Event promotions
    • Newsletters
    • Marketing collateral
  • Ensure all content aligns with BWF Zuri's voice, messaging, and brand standards.
  • Proofread content for grammar, consistency, and accuracy.
  • Manage client story library
Social Media & Digital Marketing
  • Schedule and publish content across LinkedIn and other digital platforms.
  • Monitor social media engagement and recommend opportunities to increase visibility.
  • Support website content management.
Event & Webinar Marketing
  • Coordinate promotional campaigns for webinars, conferences, and speaking engagements.
  • Assist with event communications before and after programs.
  • Create promotional assets and follow-up communications.
Marketing Operations
  • Organize marketing assets within shared libraries.
  • Assist with project management using marketing workflow tools.
  • Support project management of industry research
Brand Support
  • Help ensure consistency across all marketing materials.
  • Coordinate updates to presentations, templates, and branded collateral.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in content marketing, communications, or digital marketing.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Experience with LinkedIn and B2B social media marketing.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO and digital marketing best practices.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and collaborative project management tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms and CMS tools.
  • Experience supporting webinars or virtual events.
  • Graphic design experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
  • Experience working in nonprofit, higher education, healthcare, or professional services environments.

Compensation and BenefitsΒ 

Annual base salary range of $55,000 to $65,000 (plus bonus potential) based on qualifications and experience. BWF offers a comprehensive benefits package including:
