Job Summary:
Georgia IT, Inc. is a company seeking a Data Scientist to provide technical direction and guidance based on data science and analysis of web traffic. The role involves collaborating with various teams to create algorithmic solutions, develop models to detect trends, and implement adaptive techniques using machine learning.
Responsibilities:
• Provides technical direction and guidance based on data science and analysis of web traffic and web data.
• Collaborate with Engineering, the AI/Client team, the Malicious Detection team, Product Management and Executive Leadership Team to create algorithmic and data-driven solutions, as well as establishing current and long-term business, technical and product strategy.
• Develop models using statistical analysis and data mining to detect trends, similarities, patterns and collaboration with engineers to create dashboards and heat maps for visualization of data.
• Success in creating monetization strategies and offerings based on economic analysis of data assets and data science strategies.
• Measuring, experimenting and tuning systems and algorithms as well as implementing adaptive techniques based on machine learning and data mining.
• Determination of weighted reputation and trustworthy scoring systems based on data mining and analysis.
• Proven experience in identify relevant algorithms and processes for data-driven solutions; and provide design input to engineering to code those identified to produce actionable results.
• Experience creating and proving predictive model prototypes and working with with data engineers to put them into production.
• Have experience with interacting, administering, or working with : Hadoop, Hive, Spark, MapReduce, and cluster computing with Amazon Web Services, Open Source Software, and Linux.
Qualifications:
Required:
• US Citizen, Green Card and GC EAD Only.
• NO Visa Sponsorship (H1B Transfer) or no Corp. to Corp no 1099.
• Provides technical direction and guidance based on data science and analysis of web traffic and web data.
• Extract large and complex web datasets while thinking strategically about uses of data and how data use interacts with data design.
• Collaborate with Engineering, the AI/Client team, the Malicious Detection team, Product Management and Executive Leadership Team to create algorithmic and data-driven solutions.
• Establish current and long-term business, technical and product strategy.
• Develop models using statistical analysis and data mining to detect trends, similarities, patterns.
• Collaborate with engineers to create dashboards and heat maps for visualization of data.
