Title: Project Manager 3

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Chief Data Architect & Data Analytics office on PMAS cloud projects
  • Lead documentation efforts per DIR Project Delivery Framework
  • Develop RFPs and federally approved IAPDs to obtain matching federal funds
  • Oversee data integration efforts across HHSC departments
  • Conduct procurement and resource planning
  • Manage day-to-day operations, scrums, deliverables, and project timelines
  • Communicate progress and risks with leadership and stakeholders
 
 Required Skills & Experience
  • 8+ years of IT Project Management experience
  • 8+ years in IT industry with at least 5 years in:
    • Data management solutions (data lakes, warehouses)
    • Data analytics/BI
    • Web-based development (e.g., J2EE)
    • SOA-related technologies
  • 8+ years:
    • Strong written and verbal communication
    • Project documentation creation
    • Team management (task assignments, mentoring, facilitation)
    • Risk identification and resolution
    • Full lifecycle experience (PMLC & SDLC)
    • Tracking full project budget and cost reporting
