OVERVIEW
Level99 is looking for a Systems Operations Manager to own the technology that keeps our venues running smoothly. In this hybrid role, you'll be the go-to expert for our POS, inventory, and reporting systems — including Toast and xtraCHEF — ensuring every location operates accurately and efficiently. You'll partner closely with Operations, Finance, F&B, and IT teams to solve problems in real time, roll out new tools, and lead technology setup for new venue openings. If you love building scalable systems, thrive on solving problems on the fly, and want your work to directly shape the guest experience across every location, we'd love to hear from you.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage and maintain POS, inventory, and reporting systems across all locations, including menu, pricing, and configuration updates.
  • Serve as the go-to contact for restaurant system support, troubleshooting issues and managing requests through Jira.
  • Own inventory, recipe, and costing systems, including day-to-day xtraCHEF maintenance and invoice processing.
  • Build training materials and lead the rollout of new systems, features, and technology upgrades across venues.
  • Deliver accurate, actionable reporting — including weekly performance reports and Finance scorecards — to support leadership decisions.
  • Manage relationships with POS, inventory, and technology vendors, and oversee system integrations and the technology budget.
  • Lead systems planning and technology roadmapping in partnership with Finance, Operations, F&B, and IT.
  • Own technology setup for new venue openings, from initial planning through go-live.
MUST-HAVE SKILLS
  • 5+ years of experience in restaurant systems, technical solutions, or hospitality technology, with a strong F&B operations background.
  • Deep hands-on expertise with Toast POS, including Toast Web, hardware setup, and multi-location management.
  • Proven experience managing Toast and xtraCHEF integrations with third-party platforms (accounting, delivery, loyalty).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-unit operational environments and competing priorities.
OTHER DESIRABLE (BUT NOT NECESSARY) SKILLS & EXPERIENCE INCLUDE
  • Experience supporting new venue openings, from systems setup through go-live.
  • A track record of process improvement, standardization, and scalable system design.
  • Strong project management and cross-functional communication skills.
  • Background in training, change management, and vendor relationship management.
While we don’t expect a candidate to have deep experience in all of the above, we’re looking for someone with the passion and capability to learn quickly in the areas that are new!

YOU MIGHT BE A FIT ON THE LEVEL99 TEAM IF YOU…
  • Like to laugh, would be described as a "low maintenance, low drama" person, have a tendency to have a bit of fun while you work
  • Have a high tolerance for ambiguity, like to go fast, and are excited to learn on the job
  • Are just a little bit obsessive about getting the details right the first time
  • Have a high energy personality, the kind of person who is typically smiling, and likes to "get it done now"

Level99 is an E-Verify employer.
