Zantech is looking for a talented Senior Webmaster / Lead Web Developer to contribute to the success of our upcoming Information Technology Support Services project for an On-site role at Fort Lee VA

Summary:

The Senior Webmaster / Lead Web Developer manages, implements, and directs all web development and webmaster support activities at Fort Lee, Virginia. This individual leads graphical design, site planning, and layout of web applications and websites using dynamic and static web interfaces, and serves as the primary point of contact for webmaster software support across the project and the Sustainment Center of Excellence (SCoE).

Responsibilities include, but will not be limited to:

  • Manage, implement, and direct graphical design, site planning, and layout of all web applications, websites, and web-related services
  • Design, develop, and support web content including blogs, RSS/news feeds, audio, video, and social networking services and APIs
  • Create and administer Microsoft SharePoint pages including web parts, permissions, groups, workflows, and maintenance procedures
  • Consult with business content owners, departments, and offices to provide solutions; draft final content for publication
  • Perform reviews and audit actions for all websites and online content ensuring relevance, timeliness, and regulatory compliance
  • Provide image manipulation, video, motion graphics, animation, and branding/logo graphic solutions for publication
  • Establish and perform web analytics reviews (traffic, browsers, trends) to support decision-making on content and future needs
  • Ensure all published information meets Government standards for appropriate release before publication to public or private websites
  • Ensure compliance with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and EIT Accessibility Standards across all web properties
  • Coordinate with G-6 Government webmaster and Division Chief on near-term and forecasted changes to the web management path
  • Provide technical guidance and support to webmasters throughout project; serve as point of contact for webmaster software support
  • Coordinate with senior leaders and content providers on web-based strategic planning, website migration, redesigns, and campaigns
  • Support external official presences (EOPs) on approved social networking services for organizational initiatives
  • Assist the Information Assurance Manager with gathering and preserving website data to meet all reporting requirements
  • Identify changes necessary to upgrade websites and services; analyze emerging technologies for relevance to the Government web environment

Required Experience or Knowledge of the following technologies/functions:

  • 5 years minimum of web development and webmaster experience
  • Dynamic and static web interface development using HTML, DHTML, VBScript, JavaScript, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
  • Web content design and development including blogs, RSS/news feeds, audio, video, and social networking APIs
  • Microsoft SharePoint page and content creation: web parts, permissions, groups, workflows, and maintenance
  • Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 compliance and EIT Accessibility Standards
  • Image and photo manipulation solutions for final draft publication
  • Video, motion graphics, and animation solutions for final draft publication
  • Graphic solutions for branding, logos, and web graphics
  • Web analytical information review: traffic, visits, browsers, and trends
  • Assessment of existing and emerging technologies for relevance to Government web environments
  • Coordination with G-6 Government webmaster, Division Chief, senior leaders, and content owners
  • Website migration, site redesigns, campaign planning, and content management
  • Compliance with DoD and U.S. Army G-6 standards for website links and content
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to present and brief at all levels of command
  • Ability to communicate technical information to G-6 Webmasters, Graphics Artists, customers, and Government staff

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field of study; OR
  • Five (5) years of Webmaster-related experience in lieu of degree
  • Education Preferred:
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Web Design, Digital Media, Computer Science, or related field

Required Certifications:

  • CompTIA Security+ CE (must be held at time of award; if not currently held, must be obtained within 60 days of contract start)
  • IAM Level I baseline certification IAW DoD 8570.01-M
  • Information Assurance Training IAW DoD 8570.01-M; completed prior to network access, renewed annually
  • AT Level I Antiterrorism Training within 30 days of start
  • OPSEC Level I Training within 30 days of start; annual refresh required
  • Preferred Certifications:
    • Adobe Certified Professional (Dreamweaver, Illustrator, or Creative Cloud)
    • Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator
    • W3C Web Accessibility certification or equivalent Section 508 training

Required Security Clearance:

  • US Citizenship and the ability to maintain an Active Secret or higher clearance, per contract requirements.
