What you'll do:

  • Build for Impact: Create and launch powerful, user-facing features for Desktop and Mobile Web that help spark creativity and inspire our global community.
  • Full Product Ownership: Contribute through every stage-from rapid prototyping and A/B testing to architecting, building, and scaling solutions that reach millions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely across design, product, and backend to deliver seamless, end-to-end functionality.
  • Drive Innovation: Advocate for Pinners by suggesting new ideas and features, and use your product sense to shape what's next.
  • Quality Engineering: Employ automated testing and best practices to deliver reliable, maintainable code-taking full ownership of your work.

What we're looking for:

  • Deep understanding of Web development and best practices in React/Redux.
  • 5+ years of industry Web application development experience, building consumer or business facing products.
  • Experience in following best practices in writing reliable and maintainable code that may be used by many other engineers.
  • Ability to keep up-to-date with new technologies to understand what should be incorporated.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI to improve speed and quality in your day-to-day workflow for relevant outputs.
  • Strong track record of critical evaluation and verification of AI-assisted work (e.g., testing, source-checking, data validation, peer review).
  • High integrity and ownership: you protect sensitive data, avoid over-reliance on AI, and remain accountable for final decisions and deliverables.
