About Optimize Wealth Management: Optimize Wealth Management is a premier portfolio management firm that believes technology can make financial management simpler, more transparent, and more cost-effective. We are looking for a skilled Developer to help build and maintain our cutting-edge wealth management platform.


The opportunity: We are seeking a talented Full Stack Web Developer to join our Toronto-based tech team. You will be responsible for writing clean, high-quality code and collaborating with Product Managers and other developers to build and enhance our software products. This is a full-time, on-site role (Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.).


Key responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain software applications for the Optimize platform.
  • Work with Product Managers to define and refine feature requirements.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development.
  • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java).
  • Experience with front-end (e.g., React, Angular) and/or back-end technologies.
  • Experience with database systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
