Job description

Firetrol Protection Systems is seeking a dedicated Fire Alarm Project Manager to lead and manage fire alarm system installation projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management within the fire protection industry and a strong ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

All tasks necessary to complete objectives above, including:

Participating in Sales Bid Reviews

Schedule and conduct Project Kick-Off Meetings

Active involvement with the Pre-Design and Design Process, which includes obtaining field information for

the Design Process.

Schedule and conduct meetings throughout the Design Process.

Review and facilitate all project scope changes, new documentation and change order requests and price

and issue change orders accordingly.

Create and maintain all RFIs for projects, with help from the design staff for design related RFIs

Order equipment and materials for the project using Firetrol' s project construction web-based software

platform.

Schedule and conduct Hand-Off Meetings between Field Superintendents and Design.

Manage Construction process according to objectives stated above.

Check and facilitate turnover of field documentation from the field superintendent to the design

department and administration staff.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in the fire protection or fire alarm systems industry.
  • Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, codes, and installation practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • NICET certification in fire alarm systems is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as required.
