Position Overview
We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Marketing Content & SEO Associate to join our marketing team. This role is primarily focused on growing our online presence through website content management, SEO strategy, and both written and visual content creation. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in SEO and digital content, with the ability to keep our website fresh, optimized, and aligned with our business goals. The team regularly produces graphics, marketing collateral, and email campaign assets, and a background in visual content creation and design is a valued part of this role.
Candidates with agency backgrounds looking to transition in-house are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- SEO & Content Strategy
Conduct keyword research to identify opportunities and inform content planning
Implement on-page SEO best practices across all web content to improve organic search visibility
Monitor and report on website traffic, search engine rankings, and key performance indicators using tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Google Search Console
Support link-building efforts and stay current on SEO trends and algorithm updates
Optimize existing website content for search engines and user experience
- Website Content Management
Oversee day-to-day website content updates, ensuring all information is accurate and aligned with company capabilities and product offerings
Create and publish high-quality written content including blog posts, product descriptions, and landing pages
Collaborate with IT and design teams to implement website improvements and updates
Monitor website performance and user experience, recommending and implementing optimizations
- Visual Content Support
Create graphics, infographics, and visual assets for the website and marketing campaigns
Assist with the creation of marketing collateral including one-pagers and digital advertisements as needed
Support the email marketing team with Mailchimp campaign design, templates, and promotional graphics
Required Qualifications
- Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
13 years of experience in digital marketing, SEO, or web content management
Demonstrated understanding of SEO principles and content strategy
-Technical Skills
Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Analytics and SEMrush
Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and web content principles a plus
Experience with Mailchimp or similar email marketing platforms a plus
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite a plus
Experience with Google Ads a plus
