Job description

The Content Associate will assist with writing, copy editing, research, social media, and overall corporate communications. The Content Associate will work primarily in the Communications department but may also support other areas. The Associate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive and accurate research, compiling and generating content, writing white papers and reports, proofreading and copy-editing documents, and assisting in developing presentations and communications. The role works closely with other writers and researchers, senior leadership, and external sources. The Associate will be responsible for contributing to material on business and technology, in the context of the global insurance industry.

Position Responsibilities
  • Write and copy-edit press releases, social media, marketing materials, web pages, and other public-facing communications.
  • Write, edit, and prepare articles, interviews, slideshows, and other content to be presented to industry audiences.
  • Research, compile, draft, and copy edit white papers, reports, and other communications output, based on both original and acquired research.
  • Work with researchers, writers, graphic designers, and senior staff to produce both print and digital output.
  • Write blog posts about industry-related topics and promote content on social media.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Educational and Essential Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Two-three years professional experience required
  • Experience in insurance, finance or technology-related industry a plus.
  • Ability to be detail-oriented and meet tight deadlines
  • Basic business writing
  • Creative, on-brand social media and digital writing
  • Excellent proofreading and copy-editing skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency and exposure to various online and print media
