Are you ready to help drive a massive digital evolution? We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Web Content Specialist to join our Marketing team and partner with our Web Content Manager to shape the future of our online presence.
In this strategic role, you will do much more than basic site maintenance; you will provide crucial support for a company-wide digital transformation, including a major ERP implementation. Working closely with the Web Content Manager, you will assist in the design, development, and daily performance of our web domains, helping migrate data from legacy platforms to create a cutting-edge, seamless experience for our customers. Job Description
  • Regularly update website content, including text, images, videos, and other media, ensuring best customer experience
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to implement updates to the website's design and layout as necessary
  • Represent the company's best interests toward functionality in regard toward customer experience
  • Improving website features and security standards
  • Diagnose and resolve website technical issues, such as broken links, missing images, and functionality errors
  • Monitor website performance, including page load times and responsiveness
  • Perform routine tests to identify and fix bugs or compatibility issues across different browsers and devices
  • Implement SEO best practices to improve the website's search engine ranking
  • Monitor and optimize website performance (loading speed, uptime) using relevant tools
  • Track and analyze website traffic and other key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure optimal user experience
  • Prepare monthly or as needed report on website performance analytics and offer recommendations based on data
  • Work closely with both in-house and outside designers and developers to implement new features or enhancements to the website
  • Participate in website redesigns, layout changes, or platform migrations when needed
  • Collaborate with Product and Training teams to intimately learn our product line
  • Work with internal teams to organize and maintain product information to ensure accurate data is available for websites and other marketing media
  • Ensure the website is compliant with all relevant laws and regulations (GDPR, ADA, etc.)
  • Implement and maintain accessibility features to ensure the website is usable by people with disabilities
  • Continuously assess and enhance the user experience by conducting testing and gathering feedback
  • Ensure that navigation, forms, and interactive elements function smoothly
  • Strategize with customers alongside Marketing Team to drive activity to portal

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or related field
  • Minimum two (2) years' experience with website design tools like Adobe XD, Figma, or Sketch
  • Minimum two (2) years' experience with website hosting platforms (e.g., AWS, GoDaddy, Bluehost)
  • Knowledge of database management and languages like MySQL or PHP
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Magento, Shopify, WooCommerce)
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Magento, Craft CMS, SquareSpace or similar
  • Experience with website hosting, DNS settings, and domain management
  • Knowledge of website optimization tools (e.g., Google Analytics / Tag Manager, GTmetrix, Google Search Console)
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to diagnose issues quickly and accurately
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve both frontend and backend issues
  • High level of attention to detail, ensuring that all aspects of the website are functional, accurate, and up-to-date
  • Understanding of website security protocols and best practices (SSL, regular updates, malware scanning, file permissions, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders
