Job description

Waters Edge Lodge is currently seeking a Medication Aide and/or Med Tech for the PM (2:30pm-11:00pm) shift.
Pay Rate- $24.00 per hour
The primary functions of a Med Aide/Med Tech are to:
  • Administer medications
  • Respond to residents' needs promptly
  • React timely to resident pull cords/alerts

We are looking for part time employees.
  • Regular part-time schedule is 2-on, 4-off
  • On-call/PRN also available

Minimum qualifications are:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 12 months experience or equivalent education in the healthcare environment
  • Ability to speak English clearly to elderly residents
  • Ability to work patiently with cognitively impaired individuals

Employment requirements include:
  • current COVID19 vaccination
  • Routine COVID tests
  • Physical
  • TB test
  • Fingerprint clearance from the FBI & Dept. of Justice

We are a pet friendly community, residents may have animals in their private apartments and the Med Aide/Tech position will have to enter and perform work in that space.
