Med Tech (Part-Time and PRN) – Lake Wales, Florida

Overnight Shifts 10p - 6a


Join our dedicated team at Waters Edge Assisted Living Facility in Lake Wales, Florida, where we are committed to providing compassionate and high-quality care to our residents. We are currently seeking motivated and caring Med Techs to support our nighttime and PRN staffing needs. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors while working in a supportive and professional environment.


Key Responsibilities:

- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, mobility, and medication management

- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations and facility policies

- Monitor residents’ health status and report any changes or concerns to nursing staff

- Document care provided accurately and timely in residents’ records

- Promote a safe, respectful, and comfortable environment for residents

- Collaborate with team members to ensure quality care delivery


Skills and Qualifications:

- Valid state certification as a Med Tech or Certified Medication Aide

- Prior experience in assisted living or long-term care preferred

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Compassionate, patient, and attentive to residents’ needs

- Flexibility to work evening shifts (10 p.m. to 6 a.m.) and PRN hours as needed

- Knowledge of medication administration and safety protocols
